Wild Wisdom Gatherings
Step into the heart of nature in the ancient forests of South Vancouver Island, Victoria area, for an afternoon of connection, reflection, and exploration. Guided by trained Wild Mind Practitioners, our monthly gatherings offer an opportunity to listen deeply, share our voices, and attune ourselves to the wisdom of the earth and the spirit of the seasons.
Each gathering is a chance to ground ourselves in community, tune into our internal landscapes, and then wander freely among cedar and arbutus trees, broom and fern, shape-shifting creek and meadow. These sacred spaces and land-based practices invite us to engage with the nature-based map of the psyche, grounded in Bill Plotkin’s Wild Mind teachings, helping us reconnect with the wild, whole parts of ourselves.
Details:
When: one Sunday of every month, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Where: private forested location close to Victoria – location to be given upon registration
What to Bring: A journal and pen, water bottle, layers for wandering, a whistle, a watch and a low chair if desired for sitting in circle.
What to Expect:
  • Nature-Based Map of the Psyche: Explore your inner landscape through the lens of the elements, the directions and the seasons.
  • Contemplative Practices on the Land: Wander, reflect, and connect with both the land and your inner self.
  • Council Sharing Practice: Speak, be heard, and witness others in a supportive circle.
  • Soulcraft Practices: Engage in activities such as Deep Imagery Journeys, Dream Work, Myth Work, Conversations with the more-than-human world, and Ritual & Ceremony.
Registration:
This gathering is open to all who want to experience the Wild Mind model of the psyche.
Come join us in the wild and reconnect to the wisdom of the earth.
